About the Travel Trade Crusade

In 2012 Sarah Archer of Beachcomber Tours decided to do a banger car rally to mark a significant birthday and she persuaded some travel friends to come with her.

Between their two teams they raised over £3000 for charities including Macmillan Cancer, Alzheimers Research and The Dogs Trust and had a huge amount of fun motoring the roads of Europe.

The charity ralliers of 2012 wanted to share that experience and give the travel industry a chance to show its' generosity and raise a great deal of money for charities and so in 2013 The Travel Trade Crusade was born. Since then the Crusade has taken place 3 more times and the total sum raised for charities by our teams is standing in excess of £165,000

We want to increase that total to over £200,000 so come and join in the most fun on 4 wheels, exclusively for the travel trade and raise some serious money for your favourite charities….The Travel Trade Crusade.

The organisers of the Travel Trade Crusade are 2 enthusiastic 'amateurs', both with busy full time jobs who have committed to organising the event to enable our teams to raise money for charity. Supported by their long suffering partners, they are also good mates, which helps when you're organising a complex event like the Crusade.
